Columbia Man Charged In Child Pornography Case
Police said a Columbia man distributed and possessed child pornography.

COLUMBIA, MD – A Columbia man has been charged with possessing and distributing child pornography. An investigator with the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit downloaded child pornography from an address online that was traced to him, officials said.
Isak Dorot, 68, was arrested Wednesday at his home in the 7500 block of Red Cravat Court and charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
A state police investigator downloaded child pornography from an internet address in December 2017 that was later determined to from the residence where Dorot lived. Troopers served a warrant there at 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, along with homeland security personnel and Howard County police officers.

Multiple images and videos of child pornography were found during a preliminary review of his electronic devices, police said. Three counts of child pornography possession were from Wednesday, while one count of possession and distribution were from Dec. 13, 2017, according to court records.
Dorot was arrested and later released on $10,000 bond.
