Columbia Man Exposed Self to Officers: Police
Indecent exposure, assault and shoe burglar were reported in Columbia recently, Howard County police said.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Columbia. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A man was pistol-whipped by a stranger in the 6100 block of Good Hunters Ride. At the time, the victim had been meeting with an acquaintance. After the assault, the suspect verbally threatened the victim, then fled the scene. The incident occurred at 2 a.m. on Feb. 17. The suspect was described as a slim black man who was 5'10" tall and 20 to 30 years old.
After a witness reported an indecent exposure in the 6400 block of Dobbin Center Way, two Columbia men were charged with indecent exposure and possession with intent to distribute drugs. The witness provided suspect vehicle information after seeing a man exposing himself at 4:51 p.m. on Feb. 16. When police located the vehicle, officers found marijuana and a significant amount of cash. Both the driver and passenger — who exposed himself to officer while being transported — were arrested. One was a 24-year-old from the 10500 block of Jason Lane and the other was a 26-year-old from the same address.

Shoes and a video game console were stolen from a residence in the 5200 block of Cedar Lane sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 14. The lock was broken on the door.
