Columbia Noodles & Company Hit by Data Breach

A data breach at Noodles & Company that compromised customers' debit and credit card information impacted more than two dozen Maryland restaurants, including one in Columbia.

Hackers may have gotten cardholder information including name, card number, expiration date, and CVV.

The breach affected transactions between Jan. 31 and June 2, according to the company.

Noodles & Company reported that 26 sites in Maryland were impacted, including the Columbia restaurant at 6191 Old Dobbin Lane in Columbia.

The company which began investigating unusual activity on its credit card processor May 17 and immediately started working with experts to find out if the system had been compromised.

The company states that credit and debit cards used at the affected locations are no longer at risk but asks customers to monitor their credit and debit transactions.

It has established a customer service line at 888-849-1067 for those who would like to speak with Noodles & Company representatives from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EDT Monday through Friday (excluding U.S. holidays).
