Missing Columbia Senior Citizen Has Been Found: Police
Raymond Earl Forney, 75, was last seen at his home Thursday night. He was found late Friday evening, police reported.
COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police officers reported late Friday night that a missing elderly man from Columbia had been found. Raymond Earl Forney, 75, was last seen at his residence in the 6500 block of Quilting Way at approximately 7 p.m. last night. At approximately 8:30 p.m., his family discovered he had left the residence on foot. They contacted police when he did not return home.
Forney’s family and police were concerned for his welfare due to age-related health issues. Officers searched the area overnight, including the Owen Brown Village Center and Dobbin Shopping Center, but have been unable to locate him. Forney is described as standing 5'7" and approximately 180 pounds with blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a gray polo shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday evening, the police department noted that he had been found unharmed.
