Columbia Shooting Under Investigation, Police Say
The Thursday night shooting happened off Harper's Farm Road, Howard County police report.

A man was shot in Harper’s Choice Thursday night, according to the Howard County Police Department, which reported the victim was taken to shock trauma with life-threatening injuries.

At 9:48 p.m. on Thursday, authorities responded to the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road, where a man was reportedly shot, police said.

The BP gas station, in the area where the victim was found shot in the neck, was cordoned off as police investigated, and the victim was taken by medevac for treatment, and the WBAL reported.
The condition of the victim was fair after he was taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, according to police.
