Columbia Woman Reports Carjacking: Police
A woman was sitting in her vehicle in Columbia when another woman yanked open her car door, pulled her out and took off in her SUV.

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police officers are on the lookout for a woman suspected of carjacking another woman in Columbia's Long Reach neighborhood Nov. 15. The driver told officers she was sitting in the driver's seat, starting her vehicle, on Tamar Drive near High Tor Hill at 7:20 a.m. when another woman opened her car door and pulled her out of the SUV.
According to a police report, the suspect then drove off in the vehicle, a 2010 red Toyota RAV4 with tags MD/8EA4966. The suspect was described as having a thin build and wearing a red jacket with a black winter hat.
