Crash On Route 175 Stalled Traffic: HoCo Fire And Rescue

HOWARD COUNTY, MD - Authorities say that a crash on MD 175 is impacting traffic Monday afternoon in Howard County.

The collision occurred in the area of the Interstate 95 north exit ramp and Route 175 east, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

At approximately 1:45 p.m., lanes on eastbound Route 175 were closed as a result, the department reported.

Traffic cameras showed that vehicles on Route 175 in the area of the I-95 interchange were at a standstill as they headed toward US 1.

By 2:15 p.m., authorities said that lanes were reopening in the area.

The area remained congested until approximately 2:30 p.m., when traffic was running smoothly.
