DC Men Arrested For Howard County Tire Thefts: Police
Two Washington, D.C., men have been arrested for stealing tires and rims from vehicles at dealerships located across Howard County.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Police Department has charged two Washington, D.C., men with stealing or attempting to steal rims and tires from vehicles at auto dealerships located across the county since August.
Dominic Marcel Fowler, 35, of Half Street S.W., and Donovan Keith Braxton, 34, of East Street S.E., have been charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft and destruction of property, according to a Howard County police report. Investigators believe the two men stole six sets of rims and tires valued at approximately $24,000 from vehicles on the lot of Koons Chevrolet in the 12400 block of Auto Drive in Clarksville on Aug. 23.
On Oct. 7, police believe they attempted to steal rims and tires from 14 vehicles on the lot of Apple Ford in the 8800 block of Stanford Boulevard in Columbia. Police responded to that incident and the suspects fled, leaving behind the rims and tires and a stolen U-Haul truck.

Numerous agencies in the region are investigating the men for similar thefts. Howard County police arrested Fowler Dec. 18 and Thurmont Police in Frederick County arrested Braxton Dec. 8.
