Diana Ulman and Ellen Corddry Exhibits at the Bernice Kish Gallery

Two-person Exhibit in the Bernice Kish Gallery for September, 2016

The Bernice Kish Gallery at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, Maryland, is pleased to announce the opening exhibit in the galleries for the 2016-2017 gallery season. Diana Ulman will exhibit her paintings and drawings, titled “Evolving Art – Unconstrained” in the Lobby Gallery, and Ellen Corddry will have an exhibit of watercolors and woodcuts, titled “Wood and Water – Landscapes in Woodcut and Watercolors” in the Bill White Room Gallery. These exhibits will run from September 8 – October 15, 2016. Note: Due to the recent flooding in Ellicott City and the damage to several galleries, the Road to the Arts has been cancelled.

Diana Ulman, of Columbia, Maryland, has exhibited throughout the region, including the Gallerie des Arte, in Baltimore, the Meeting House Gallery, GoGoGura Art Upstairs and the Slayton House Gallery. Ms. Ulman works with various media, including acrylic, pen and ink, and collage and often incorporates recycled materials in her work. In addition to painting and drawing Ms. Ulman is also an interior designer.

Ellen Corddry, of Columbia, Maryland, works primarily in watercolors and woodcuts. Ms. Corddry has exhibited extensively throughout Maryland. Her work has been featured in several shows including Twistback Center for the Arts, Oxford Arts Alliance, Howard County Center for the Arts, The Gallery at Lirioidendron, Columbia Art Center and Slayton House Gallery. Ms. Corddry is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Andrus Award for best botanical illustration, Adkins Arboretum and the Best Professional in Class at Towson Art Fest.
