Drone Technology Used To Track Down Teen On The Run After Crashing Car: Howard Co. Police
Howard County Police used a drone to track down a teenager who had run from the scene of a car crash in Columbia.

COLUMBIA, MD — Technology helped Howard County Police track down a teenage suspect on the run recently.
On April 9, police were called to a Columbia neighborhood for a report of a vehicular crash. Witnesses reported seeing a teenage boy run from the vehicle that had rolled onto its top in a resident's yard. Officers determined the vehicle to be stolen, according to Howard County Police.
An officer on the scene used a drone and its advanced technology to find the teen who was running through the neighborhood. The teen was apprehended and charged with motor vehicle theft, the police department stated.
