Election Security To Be Addressed At Howard County LWV Meeting

COLUMBIA, MD — The League of Women Voters of Howard County will discuss elections and the school district's redistricting proposal in Howard County at its next meeting Sept. 19 at Residences at Vantage Point, formerly Vantage House, 5400 Vantage Point Road, Columbia. The meeting will run from 7 to 9 p.m.

Guy Mickley, director of the Howard County Board of Elections, will discuss election security in Howard County and registration and voting statistics by precincts in Howard County. Krista Threefoot, director of education, LWVHC and chair of the League’s education study committee, will offer an overview of the Howard County Council’s Resolution 112 and highlight the HCPSS superintendent’s proposed redistricting plan.
