Enroll Students In Special Howard County Public School System Programs Starting Feb. 1
The Howard County Public School System will open enrollment for special programs starting Feb. 1.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Online enrollment requests for currently enrolled students with the Howard County Public School System will open Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. for the following programs:
- BSAP Summer Institute (entering kindergarten through ninth grade)
- Gifted and Talented Summer Institutes for Talent Development (entering first through eighth grades)
- Innovative Pathways High School (entering ninth grade and current ninth through 12th graders) – Math and Science courses only
- STARTALK Chinese Language Summer Camp (seventh and eighth graders)
Enrollment requests do not guarantee placement in courses, the school district noted, and there is limited space within all courses.
Synergy will accept enrollment requests from February through June starting at 6 p.m. on the first of each month and remain open for two weeks. For programs and courses that are not full, enrollment requests may continue to be made each month.

- The first enrollment request window will open Feb. 1 and is limited to current HCPSS students only. Non-HCPSS students who wish to request enrollment should contact the appropriate summer program office to receive an alternate enrollment link.
- February enrollment requests for Innovative Pathways High School are limited to mathematics and science course requests only. All courses will be open for enrollment March 1.
