9th annual Gospel Extravaganza

Gospel Extravaganza to Benefit Office on Aging’s Vivian L. Reid Community Fund

Presented in part by Howard County’s Office on Aging and the Tau Pi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the 9thĀ annual Gospel Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jim Rouse Theatre at Wilde Lake High School, 5460 Trumpeter Lane in Columbia. Ā 

This year’s Extravaganza will feature performances by noted gospel ensembles Sons of Harmony and Gospel Revelations, the McDaniel College Gospel Choir, the James Fenimore Cooper Male Chorus and a steel drum performance by TagĆ© on Steel.

Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 12 and under.Ā  Ticket order forms are available online at the Office on Aging’s website, www.howardcountyaging.org.Ā 

Proceeds from the 2011 Gospel Extravaganza will benefit the Office on Aging’s Vivian L. Reid Community Fund, whichĀ  provides emergency financial assistance to Howard County senior citizens in need, and the Tau Pi Foundation Scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to college-bound Howard County high school students.Ā
