Columbia Pro Cantare under the direction of Franes Motyca Dawson will be joined by mezzo Mary Ann McCormick, Jared Denhard, trombone, stringed instruments, and the Lexington Brass Quintet in a performance of American ballads and spirituals and Moravian Brass Music. The winner of the "Battle for Frances' Baton" will conduct the finale.
A free pre-concert lecture at 7 pm will be presented by Dr. Barbara Renton. Free post-concert reception to meet the musicians. Tickets are $23 and $20 (students/senior citizens) in advance; $2 more at the door. Group rates for 10 or more.
