BGR The Burger Joint One Year Anniversary to Benefit ALS Association

BGR The Burger Joint of Columbia, MD will celebrate its one- year anniversary on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 with free burgers available from 11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm. The anniversary event will benefit the ALS Association – DC/MD/VA Chapter and a $1 donation per person is suggested. BGR The Burger Joint selected the ALS Association – DC/MD/VA Chapter as the beneficiary of the anniversary event because owner Stacy Person’s mother succumbed to the disease in 1987. ALS is a fatal, progressive neuromuscular disease that occurs when motor nerve cells cease to function and die.
