Holly Manor ~ A Journey From Colonial To Contemporary

     Holly Manor is a colonial revival estate located on thirteen rolling acres midway between Baltimore and Washington in the Maple Lawn area just south of Columbia.  Designers from Baltimore and the Washington DC area have paid homage to the home’s 18th century historic roots as well as its 21st century possibilities.      

     This estate is undoubtedly one of the most impressive properties HEC, Inc. has had the honor to present as a Show House.  The core of this rambling Dutch Colonial dates back to the mid-1700’s — the existing house is built on part of these foundations, with telescoping additions added over time to the present day.  Visitors will gain inspiration from over twenty five rooms reflecting both colonial and contemporary design. Features include beautifully detailed moldings, wide-plank flooring, gracious room sizes and panoramic views of the three-acre lake where fish and wildlife abound.

     Opening with a Preview Party Gala on September 22nd (advance tickets required) the Show House will be open daily from September 24th through October 23rd.  We invite visitors to delight in the magic our designers have created.  In addition, we are pleased to also offer tempting treasures in our extensive Boutique, as well as a gallery of furnishings from favorite Ellicott City retail and antiques merchants.  And, no visit to the Show House would be complete without experiencing the culinary delights in our cafe.  For directions, visiting hours, and ticket information, please visit www.historicec.com or telephone (410) 461-6908.
