Run for Congo Women aims to raise awareness about the deadliest conflict in the world since WWII. The Democratic Republic of Congo is plagued by a brutal war that has claimed the lives of 5.4 million people. Hundreds of thousands of women and girls are subjected to rampant sexual violence and are victims of war trauma.
On-site registration the day of the event is $30 and begins at 8:15am and will close at 8:45am. Although there is no fundraising requirement, all participants are encouraged to raise $324, which represents sponsoring a sister in Congo for one year.
Strollers and pets are permitted.
