Motorcyclist Dies in Columbia Crash: Police
A fatal crash occurred near Columbia Gateway Drive Friday afternoon, police said.
COLUMBIA, MD — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a tree on Samuel Morse Drive Friday afternoon, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Rommy Hesham Warrak, 22, of Baltimore, was pronounced dead at the scene near Columbia Gateway Drive, police reported.
Warrak was wearing a helmet when for reasons that police said remain unknown, his 2003 Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle left the road and hit a tree around 12:40 p.m.

Lane closures were in effect on Samuel Morse Drive for several hours for investigation.
