Fatal Hit-And-Run In Jessup Prompts Police To Search For Pickup: Official

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision in Jessup that happened Thursday around 7:15 p.m.

Howard County Police were called to the area of Washington Boulevard just south of Route 175 Thursday. They believe a white or silver Ford F-150 Raptor was heading northbound on Washington Boulevard when it hit a man crossing the street just south of Route 175. The vehicle continued north on Washington Boulevard and then east on Route 175, police reported.

The man who was hit was pronounced dead on the scene and police do not believe he was in a crosswalk at the time. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or who may have witnessed the collision should contact PFC Holocker at 410-313-4752.
