Fiero Mexican Street Food's Hosts Neighbors In Need Initiative
For every meal purchased at Fiero Mexican Street Food, the WJP Restaurant Group will donate a meal to the Maryland Food Bank.
ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD — Fiero Mexican Street Food in Annapolis Junction will be hosting Neighbors in Need, a program designed to support the Maryland Food Bank. WJP Restaurants, in a joint venture with COPT, is behind the Neighbors in Need program. For every meal purchased at Fiero Mexican Street Food, the WJP Restaurant Group will donate a meal to the Maryland Food Bank. Customers also will be able to provide extra meals through the purchase of gift cards and the signature Brownie Bites at Fiero.
WJP Restaurant Group aims to donate a total of 60,000 meals or more from the combined sales at Redstone Gateway in Huntsville (45,000 targeted donated meals) and The National Business Park in Maryland (15,000 targeted donated meals).
“We have had an incredibly encouraging start to the program, with over 3,500 meals already
donated at Fiero in The National Business Park and hope to see a steady rise with the holiday
season quickly approaching. The outpouring of support from the local communities has been
truly heartwarming, especially given the obstacles that the restaurant industry has faced
throughout a challenging year,” said Peter Nolan, vice president of marketing at WJP Restaurant Group, in a statement.
