Fire Causes Damage At Lincoln Technical Institute, No Injuries
A fire Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Technical Institute in Columbia damaged the roof of a building. No injuries were reported.
COLUMBIA, MD — A two-alarm fire was reported Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Technical Institute in the 9200 block of Snowden River Parkway in Columbia, authorities said.
Howard County Fire and EMS officials tweeted that the fire was in the roof.
The blaze started near a solar panel, WMAR reported. No were injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the roof.

Firefighters will be on scene for several hours to make sure there are no hot spots and that the fire is out, the department said about 6:30 p.m.
Classes were not in session at the time of the fire.
