Firefighter Injured, 5 Displaced After Blaze Burns Marriottsville Home
A firefighter was injured and five residents displaced after a fire broke out at a Marriottsville home. The incident is under investigation.

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD — Five people have been displaced and a firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a fire broke out in a Marriottsville home Friday around 1 a.m.
Firefighters arrived at the home, located in the 1200 block of Sugar Maple Drive, and battled the blaze. One person in addition to the firefighter was evaluated for injuries and released at the scene, according to the Howard County Fire and Rescue Department.
Officials are now investigating the scene.
