Fox News Host To White House Staff: ‘Columbia Safest City In US’
On Sunday, Chris Wallace called on the Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney to explain President Trump's tweets targeting the Baltimore area.
In a Sunday interview with Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, Fox News host Chris Wallace questioned the White House official on President Donald Trump’s weekend tweets targeting Baltimore and Congressman Elijah Cummings.
In the interview, Wallace showed the tweets by Trump, which called the conditions in Cummings’ Baltimore district — which includes Columbia — worse and more dangerous than those at the U.S. southern border.
Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA......

Wallace mentioned Columbia specifically during the interview, telling Mulvaney that the “median household income in the district is in the upper half nationally, and Columbia, Maryland, which is part of the Cummings' district, has been called the safest city in America.”
