Free event on Oct. 4 in Columbia introduces CA's new Wibit inflatable water play features
Try out the new play features, race your friends, try to climb without falling, and bounce and crawl through the new obstacle course.

While the SplashDown flumes at Columbia Swim Center are being replaced, Columbia Association (CA) will offer the enjoyable Wibit inflatable water play features. All are invited to play at the free Wibit Opening Bash on Sunday, Oct. 4, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Swim Center, 10400 Cross Fox Lane in the Wilde Lake Village Center.
This event is open to everyone, including non-members, who can try out the new play features, race their friends, try to climb without falling, and bounce and crawl through the new obstacle course.
Wibits will then be open to members and guests at Columbia Swim Center on Saturdays from 1 to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m., all the way through May 22, 2016. Admission is free for Package Plan Plus members, $3 per person for Package Plan or any Facility Only memberships, $7 for Columbia Card holders, and $10 for non-members.

All participants must be able to swim one length of the pool in a strong freestyle stroke; otherwise they must wear a life vest. Children aged 7 years or younger must be be accompanied by a responsible supervisor in order to enter Columbia Swim Center. Kids between the ages of 8 and 12 who pass a safety test administered by pool staff will be permitted to use the facility without supervision. Responsible supervisors must be at least 14 years old if the child is a family member and at least 16 years old if the child is a guest.
