Frost Advisory Issued For Howard County: May 12
The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures dropping to 33 degrees in the overnight.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Cover your plants and bundle up tonight, because the National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for the region effective midnight Monday through 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to drop as low as 33 degrees in the overnight, according to forecasters, which may damage plants, crops and outdoor plumbing. The advisory applies to parts of Allegany, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Washington counties.
People with in-ground sprinkler systems are encouraged to drain them and cover pipes located above ground to keep them from freezing, according to forecasters.
