Garage Fire Out In Columbia, Officials Say

COLUMBIA, MD – A garage fire in Columbia broke out Monday evening in Columbia, officials said. Crews said the blaze was quickly snuffed out.

At 5:35 p.m., firefighters were at the scene of a fire in the 6300 block of 6300 Windharp Way. The fire was located in a detached garage, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

The flames did not extend to the main structure and were contained to the garage, officials said.

By 5:43 p.m., authorities reported the fire was out.
