Grotto Pizza Cuts Ribbon on Columbia Restaurant

The business known for its beach-area locations opened in Columbia.

COLUMBIA, MD – Grotto Pizza celebrated its spring opening recently in Columbia with a ribbon-cutting on Minstrel Way.

Located near the Hampton Inn & Suites and Springhill Suites by Marriott, the restaurant contains 200 seats. It offers a dining room, sports bar, private dining space and takeout area.

Owner Dominick Pulieri said he found Columbia to be "so welcoming to Grotto Pizza as a new member of this great community."

There are more than 20 Grotto Pizza restaurants in the region. The first opened in 1960 in Delaware.

Grotto Pizza is at 7075 Minstrel Way in Columbia.
