Hazmat Spill in Columbia Clears Out Building: Officials
Howard County emergency officials said a small hazardous materials spill was reported Wednesday afternoon near Columbia Gateway Drive.

COLUMBIA, MD — Special operations crews were called to Columbia Wednesday afternoon for a hazardous materials spill, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
A building was evacuated after a small hazmat spill in the 7000 block of Samuel Morse Drive, officials said.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., authorities reported that there was no fire and the spill had been contained to an enclosed area.
