Motorcyclist Critical After Crash on Route 108: Howard County Police
Two vehicles were involved in serious crash that shut down part of MD 108 Tuesday night, police said.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A motorcyclist was airlifted to shock trauma Tuesday after a serious crash on MD 108, according to emergency officials.
Brandon Corey Collier, 27, of Catonsville, suffered critical injuries when his 2005 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a sedan in the area of Route 108 at Falls Run Road, the Howard County Police Department reported.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:54 p.m., according to the report.

Collier was headed north on Route 108 when his motorcycle collided with a 2008 Honda Accord traveling south that turned left in front of the motorcycle, officials said.
Collier was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Maryland State Police helicopter for treatment, according to police.

The Honda driver — Laurence Elwin Everett, 66, of Ellicott City — was not injured, police reported; Everett was the only person in his vehicle.
Officials described the crash as "serious" and advised drivers to avoid the area, where police were investigating.
