How Many Howard County Residents Have Been Vaccinated: May 11

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of May 11, more than half of Howard County residents (181,387 people or 55.7 percent) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 147,247 people (45.2 percent) have been fully vaccinated. There have been 19,162 total coronavirus cases so far as of May 11 and there are 9,642 active cases.

Maura Rossman, health officer for the Howard County Health Department, noted that "while disease is decreasing, it is still important that we continue to wear facial coverings indoors and when unable to physically distance outdoors, avoid large public gatherings and get tested when exposed or develop symptoms until everyone is vaccinated."
