Howard County Government: CSX To Begin Repair Of Dorsey Run Road Railroad Crossing

A CSX Railroad maintenance project to repair and reconstruct the railroad crossing and roadway at Dorsey Run Road in Jessup, will close the roadway from approximately 9:00 a.m., November 9th. to 3:00 p.m., November 11th. During this time, traffic will be detoured via Patuxent Range Road, US 1 and MD 175.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – CSX Railroad will begin a maintenance project to repair and reconstruct the railroad crossing and roadway at Dorsey Run Road in Jessup, starting around 9:00 a.m. on or about Tuesday, November 9th. While the crossing is closed, traffic will be detoured via Patuxent Range Road, US 1 and MD 175. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11th.

Variable message boards and signs will be posted to alert the public of this road closure. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-4604 will carry details and updates.
