HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County Public School System staff recently earned the two top awards at the high school level from the Technology & Engineering Educators Association of Maryland (TEEAM). Mt. Hebron High School’s Project Lead the Way engineering academy was named as the program of excellence and Glenelg High School’s Project Lead the Way teacher Raymond Gerstner as the teacher of excellence.

Both awards honor teaching technology and engineering of the highest quality and how it relates content to the outside world and other disciplines at school. The honorees will advance to be recognized at the association’s international conference this spring.
