Howard County's Painting Of Oakland Mills Tunnel To Begin

ELLICOTT CITY – A Howard County park improvement project to update the Oakland Mills Tunnel on Oakland Mills Road will begin on or about Wednesday, November 13. The tunnel will be power washed, the concrete will be patched, and the interior of the structure will then be primed and painted. The project is estimated to take one to two weeks and will be performed by C&T Building Services LLC.

During construction hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the tunnel will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists. Informational signage and detour maps will be posted and available south of Summer Rambo Court on the pathway and north of the tunnel entrance on Oakland Mills Road by the sidewalk.
