Increased Emergency Personnel Expected At HoCo General

BREAKING: There may be heavy police and fire presence at Howard County General Hospital on Sunday, officials say.

COLUMBIA, MD — Emergency vehicles are to be expected around any hospital, but officials at Howard County General Hospital advised Sunday morning that there could be more of a presence than usual.

That's because the Howard County Police Department and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services will be conducting an emergency drill at the hospital on Cedar Lane.

People are advised not to be alarmed by an increase in emergency personnel on the hospital's campus.
