Jessup Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash: Police

JESSUP, MD — A 41-year-old Jessup man was ejected from his motorcycle and killed Tuesday night. At approximately 7:52 p.m., Travis Whitehead was traveling eastbound on Patuxent Range Road at Preston Court when his 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the roadway and struck the curb, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Police say Whitehead was declared dead at the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the single-vehicle crash. Patuxent Range Road in the area of Preston Court was closed for approximately 2.5 hours.
