Columbia, MD – Howard Community College’s popular Kids on Campus program has created brand-new online classes to enhance learning for elementary, middle and high school students. Custom-made for kids and teens, topics range from animals of Maryland, computer programming, and algebra to biology, chemistry, geometry, history, and beginning Japanese and Spanish. All classes are taught by live instructors online, via Zoom.

“We really wanted to offer enrichment to kids in subject areas that they might not currently be getting in school, due to the new scheduling,” said Megan D’Andrade, coordinator of youth programs at Howard Community College. Most classes run once a week for 8-10 weeks, during afternoons or evenings. Course costs range between $129 and $225.
