Lamb Found In Columbia Stream Makes Friends With Officer
A lamb needed help from police, and one officer made an effort to speak the animal's language.
COLUMBIA, MD — Officers never know who they may find when they respond to a call about someone in distress. And on Monday, Howard County police helped a four-legged animal get to safety.
Police were dispatched to Columbia, where a passerby had reported a little lamb was stranded in a stream.
The Howard County Police Department shared a video of Officer Scanlon trying to speak the lamb's language, bleating as he held her in his arms.
