Library Employee At Central Branch Tests Positive For COVID-19

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — An employee at the Central Branch of the Howard County Library System at 10375 Little Patuxent Pkwy. has tested positive for COVID-19. According to library officials, no members of the public have been exposed and the Howard County Department of Health is conducting contact tracing.

The Central Branch has closed and will reopen Wednesday. Customers who had appointments for contactless pickup at the Central Branch during the closure can pick up their items Wednesday. Items that were scheduled for contactless pickup at the Central Branch during the temporary closure will be held. Customers do not need to schedule a new pickup time.
