Local resident plays key role in new TV series

Tanya Spann-Roche, a resident of Fulton in Howard County, has been named series editor for the new Maryland Public Television weekly series Maryland Farm & Harvest.  Season one of the program makes its debut on MPT on Tuesday, November 19 at 7 p.m.

 

MPT’s Maryland Farm & Harvest puts a human face on Maryland agriculture, telling the stories of the people who grow food and fiber.  From locations statewide, the series chronicles the successes of and the challenges to the state’s No. 1 industry.  In her production team position, Ms. Spann-Roche will be responsible for the post-production look and style of each 30-minute episode in the series.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture is MPT’s co-production partner for Maryland Farm & Harvest. Major funding is provided by the Maryland Grain Producers.
