Columbia Man Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Girlfriend's Dad: Howard County Police
A 41-year-old Columbia man faces murder charges in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend's 67-year-old father, Howard County Police report.
COLUMBIA, MD — The suspect in a Feb. 8 fatal shooting that happened in Columbia has been arrested.
Police were called to a home in the 9500 block of Half Dollar Court Feb. 8 around 10:49 p.m. where they found 67-year-old Perry Comeau with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police department.
During the investigation, police determined that Corey Conaway, 41, of Columbia was in a relationship with Comeau's daughter and he was identified as a suspect. Detectives believe Conaway and Comeau were involved in an argument and Conaway later returned to the residence to shoot him, police said. Conaway has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.
