Man Found After Leaving Howard County General: Police

Joshua Sandoval has been located, according to police.

UPDATE — The man who left Howard County General Hospital Sunday night clad in a hospital gown has been located, according to police.

Officials reported Monday morning that Joshua Sandoval had been found unharmed.

COLUMBIA, MD — An Ellicott City man was reported missing after he fled Howard County General Hospital Sunday evening in nothing but a hospital gown, officials say.

Joshua Sandoval, 30, of the 5500 block of Cedar Lane in Ellicott City, indicated to a relative that he was in distress, according to authorities, who noted he was not properly dressed for the cold.

Temperatures were below freezing overnight in Howard County; it was 26 degrees as of 6:30 a.m. on Monday in Columbia, according to the National Weather Service.

Sandoval was last seen wearing a hospital gown. He is described as 5'10" tall, 152 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding Joshua Sandoval is asked to call 911.
