Man Stabbed In Columbia, Police Say

Officials say they are investigating a nonfatal stabbing that happened over the weekend in Columbia.

COLUMBIA, MD — Police said a man was stabbed in Columbia over the weekend. After receiving medical treatment, officials reported he was in "good condition" by Monday, Aug. 5.

Investigators believe the man was stabbed in the 8800 block of Stanford Boulevard.

Officers responded to Dobbin Road at Dobbin Center Way at 2:17 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, and found the man injured, police said.

He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment and was listed in good condition, according to officials, who said the investigation was ongoing.
