Maryland MEP launches new website
New website communicates to manufacturers Maryland MEP's ability to Grow Your People, Increase Your Profits and Improve Your Process
The Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Maryland MEP), a non-profit committed to growing and strengthening Maryland manufacturing, today announced it has launched a new and improved website that builds on the organization’s efforts to serve as a leading resource for Maryland manufacturers.
Maryland MEP’s new website was created as part of an effort to better connect with current clients, adequately display its capabilities for potential clients, and serve as an effective resource for anyone interested in how the organization is working every day to help Maryland manufacturers.
The new website highlights Maryland MEP’s capabilities and capacity to assist manufacturers grow in three areas: People, helping manufacturers find, train and retain skilled workers through workforce development, training and leadership development; Profit, offering unmatched consulting to help companies achieve strategic goals, plan and execute expansion, find new markets and develop new products, and more; and, Process, providing manufacturers the tools to take control of their operations and processes, making it easier to manage a business, while improving product quality, forecasting, on-time delivery, and ultimately profitability.

“As we build on our success helping Maryland manufacturers grow and succeed in the state, we are excited to refresh our look online and improve how we reach manufacturers working in a technology-driven world,” said Mike Kelleher, Chief Operating Officer of MD MEP. “Our hope is that the new website will not only heighten our identity, but also more clearly communicate our capabilities as an organization that is able and ready to assist Maryland manufacturers of any size.”
Maryland MEP partnered with Philadelphia-based Brand Llama to design and craft its new website. In addition to detailed information regarding the Maryland MEP’s service areas, the new website features success stories, upcoming MEP and partner events, and highlights the Make it in Maryland program.

Maryland MEP’s Make it in Maryland program is Maryland’s first and only program dedicated to manufacturers within the state to showcase companies, demonstrate the value of manufacturing within Maryland and highlight manufacturing successes. Through the organization’s new website, Maryland manufacturers can now sign up for the free program in just minutes by filling out a company profile at www.mdmep.org/trainings-and-events/make-it-in-maryland/.
The new website is the first for Maryland MEP since the organization was founded in 2013 as a Maryland independent non-profit funded by industry and the State of Maryland to grow and strengthen Maryland Manufacturing.
