Milk Truck Flips On Route 216: HoCo Fire & Rescue

A milk truck has overturned in Howard County on the same road where one flipped in September.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – A milk truck has overturned in Howard County Sunday afternoon. The crash happened after 4:30 p.m. on MD 216, transportation officials say.

The milk truck overturned on eastbound Route 216 between Leishear Road and Interstate 95, officials said; nobody was trapped.

Crews were digging a hole to hold the milk so that it would not get in the storm drain, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported after 5 p.m.

Route 216 east was shut down for the cleanup, while the left lane on Route 216 east and the left shoulder were closed as of 5:30 p.m.

A milk truck also flipped on Route 216 near I-95 in September.
