Monday Deadline To Apply For HCPSS Policy Advisory Committee

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Public School System encourages residents to take an active role in developing and revising school system policies as members of policy advisory committees. HCPSS currently seeks candidates for membership on the 2020-2021 policy advisory committee for Policy 5200 Pupil Transportation. This committee will include one member representing the general resident stakeholder group.

Committee members discuss and make recommendations to the superintendent regarding policy. Meetings will be held virtually Oct. 13, Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Nov. 2. Committee members are expected to attend/participate in all committee meetings. Residents interested in participating may submit a statement of interest online by Monday. A confirmation email with additional details will be sent to the individual selected to participate on the committee.
