Motorcycle Ride with the Heroes Set for August 28

Tour of Maryland Main Streets will benefit Grassroots and International Critical Incident Stress Foundation

The Howard County Police Department and the Howard County Department of Fire & Rescue are hosting a motorcycle ride to benefit Grassroots Intervention Center and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. The ride is set for Sunday, August 28, starting at 9 a.m., at the Howard County Public Safety Training Center in Marriottsville and features a "Main Street Maryland" tour through Sykesville, Westminister, Manchester and Hampstead.

Sponsorships are available by contacting John Newnan, jnewnan@icisf.org, or Major Ellsworth Jones, ejones@howardcountymd.gov. A minimum donation of $25 for riders and $15 for passengers is required. Register online at www.RideWithTheHeroes.com. All participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch provided by Mission BBQ.

The Howard County Public Safety Training Center is located at 2200 Scott Wheeler Drive in Marriottsville.
