Motorcyclist Hit By 2 Vehicles Dies, $5K Reward Offered: Howard County Police
A motorcyclist was hit by two vehicles early Sunday morning and died. The first driver took off. Police are offering a $5K reward.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that happened in Elkridge early Sunday morning.
At approximately 3:05 a.m. Sunday, police were called to MD Route 175 westbound between I-95 and Route 108 for a report that a man riding a motorcycle had been hit and the vehicle that had hit him had left the scene. The victim, Timothy Joseph Wise, 55, of Columbia, was thrown onto the roadway and was hit by a second vehicle, according to Howard County Police. The second driver remained on the scene, was uninjured and is cooperating with the investigation. Wise was pronounced dead at the scene.
A portion of MD Route 175 was closed for approximately three hours.
