Multiple Vehicles Crash Off Scaggsville Road: Officials

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A crash involving multiple vehicles is drawing an emergency response to the area of Scaggsville Road Friday afternoon, officials say.

Five or six vehicles were involved in the crash near the intersection of Leishear and Scaggsville roads, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

After 3 p.m., officials advised drivers to avoid the area.

Leishear Road will be closed at westbound Scaggsville Road until approximately 4:10 p.m., according to fire and rescue personnel. Drivers should anticipate delays and continue to seek alternate routes.
