No Free Meals Available From HCPSS May 13 Due To Closure

Howard County Public Schools will be closed to students May 13 for a staff professional day, so meals will need to be picked up earlier.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Because Howard County public schools are closed for students May 13 for a professional learning/articulation day, there will be no meal service but additional meals will be available prior to the school closure.

The following adjustments to meal services will be in effect for the week of May 10:

  • Pre-ordered meals may be picked up only on Monday, May 10, and Wednesday, May 12.
  • Meals pre-ordered for pickup and those received via walk-up on Monday, May 10, will include meals for Monday and Tuesday.
  • Meals pre-ordered for pickup and those received via walkup on Wednesday, May 12, will include meals for Wednesday through Sunday.
  • There will be no meal service Thursday, May 13.

Normal pre-ordering procedures will resume the week of May 17.
