November Meetings Planned By League of Women Voters of Howard Co.

Howard County League of Women Voters will be hosting two meetings in November to discuss the Electoral College.

COLUMBIA, MD — The League of Women Voters of Howard County will be hosting two meetings in November to discuss how they believe the Electoral College "damages the democracy" and how the League is pushing to abolish the Electoral College and use a direct popular vote system for electing a president and vice president.

The meetings will be Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Residences at Vantage Point (formerly Vantage House), 5400 Vantage Point Road, Columbia, and Nov. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Historic Oakland Manor, 5430 Vantage Point Road, Columbia.
